What a week! We just closed $13 million Series A funding led by Tiger Global with all of our previous investors returning, including GGV Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Slack Fund (who first participated last year without ever meeting us), SAP.iO, Intersect Capital, Rocketship.VC, as well as Warriors and 3x NBA Champion, Klay Thompson who had this to say about being part of our team:
“Everyone deserves the chance to realize their dream. Being a hard worker, persevering, and being a great team player is what it should come down to. I’m proud to be part of Crosschq’s mission to help level the playing field for all people searching for their next best job.”
Media are abuzz about our news as well, with Fortune Term Sheet, Axios, Silicon Valley Business Journal, Venture Capital Journal and more reporting.
Despite the challenges created by the pandemic, Crosschq has raised $19.5 million in total since last June, getting an assist from these All-Star legends who believe in the movement towards fair chance hiring and participated in this week’s round:
We’re proud of the work we’re doing to help companies scale in a fair and equitable way. Here are some of the proof points that underscore how our technology is helping redefine the way companies source talent in the $74 billion hiring industry:
Tiger Global’s John Curtius on how we’re changing the game:
“Crosschq first caught our attention because they’ve created a technology solution that provides untapped sources of candidate intelligence and data. But when we saw the analytics that showed significant increases in quality of hire and diversity hiring for its customers, we got really excited. We look forward to driving their next phase of growth.”
One more bit of good news before we go. Our CEO & Co-Founder Mike Fitzimmons was just named as one of the first 250 on the Forbes Next 1000 list and we are incredibly honored.
For those of you who’ve cheered us on, we’ve felt it. Your support has meant everything. We’re hitting the gas coming out of Q1, with no plans to slow down. #hirebetter
