We Had Our First Ever Argentina Team Offsite!
On April 28 - 29, Crosschq’s Argentina team came together for the first time after a long pandemic for a team offsite! It was so exciting for everyone to finally meet in person after meeting on a regular basis through the computer. We were all ready to enjoy time together bonding as a team and leaving our computers aside for a short while.
On Thursday, after everyone had arrived at the office, we handed out Crosschq swag to the whole team. After that, we enjoyed drinking mate and participating in different team-building activities.
In the evening, the team bonding continued since not all of us were quite ready to part ways yet. We headed to a bar for a couple of beverages to keep the conversation going.
On Friday, we started the day by eating alfajores, an Argentine traditional pastry made up of two cookies filled with dulce de leche, and medialunas, the Argentine version of a croissant.
One of our backend developers, Isaias Caporusso, was kind enough to print with his 3D printer key chains for everyone! It’s a beautiful souvenir that now each of us has to remember our offsite together.
After lunch, we mounted a projector to watch our CPO’s Fireside Chat all together.
During the evening, we moved our party to the rooftop so that we could enjoy the sunset and fresh air while we waited for dinner.
Overall, our first offsite was a huge success! It was great to see everyone in person and we accomplished a lot by all being together in one space- on both cultural and production fronts.
